TOPIC: YOUR REFLECTION, THE WORD
BIBLE TEXT: James 1:22-25, Phil 1:21
When you
look at the mirror, you see yourself which is your reflection. In like manner,
when you look into the word, you see your reflection. Then the question would be WHY? This is
because you’ll get to know about your position in Jesus, you’ll get to know
your right in Christ. (Col 1:22 & 1:3)
James 1:23” For if
any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding
his natural face in a glass. In the Old Testament, we were given laws to follow
and live by, but in the New Testament, it is not for us to obey, it is for us
to live by. WHY? This is because we are born of the word. The word is the
wisdom we all need for daily living. It is our guide to living right.
So many Christians go through all manners of struggles and
infirmities. WHY? This is because they don’t know the word. We claim to know
Jesus, we have Jesus, Yet don’t know anything about him. Jesus is the Word
(john 1:1) and he is speaks life to all our infirmities (John 15:3, John 6:6,
Romans 8: 26).
“The level of the word of God you can posses is the level of
position you can access” know your place in Christ! (Eph 2:6-8). The word is
you and you are the word. WHY? This is because Jesus is the word and his spirit
is in you. Ye are small gods. Claim your right!
Take note: The word is your REFLECTION, access it by
accepting it.
HOW CAN WE MANIFEST OUR REFLECTION?

Believe
in the word (John 1:12): We often say “What you believe will work for
you”. In like manner, the word that you
believe will also and definitely work for you.

Allow
the Holy Spirit guide you (Romans 8:14): We have learnt from previous parts of
this topic that the Holy Spirit is the channel of knowing and accessing Jesus
who is the word. Therefore, you must not make him handicapped. Let him lead you,
remember he is your life.

Working
According (James 1:25): The fact is we all have accepted salvation by faith. So
also is the working of the Word. For we believe by faith. However whatsoever
the word tells you do it for it is your reflection. When you look at the mirror
and raise your hand, the person in the mirror also raises his hand. The same
way it is when you study the word, be a doer and not just a hearer.
IN CONCLUSION:
When you look at the mirror of God ,
which is the WORD, you see the glory of
God and you are the glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). The more you look into the word
the more you become what you see in the word, a transformation takes place in
your life from glory to glory. The WORD is your REFLECTION, MANIFEST IT.
#God can only manifest his integrity by the level of AUTHORITY that you
possess. You can only possess the Authority by the level of WORD that you know.
